We hail our friend, the tireless vet
A humbler man we’ve never met
And praise he’ll very rarely get
From cow or sheep or avocet
John Ewing is the dear man’s name
The Stock Show is his claim to fame
(And cheetahs and some real wild game)
But fields a fearsome rugby game
